About the role
Refacture is hiring an experienced industrial electrician (or small electrical company) to execute electrical installation work at our facility in Høyanger based on Norconsult’s electrical drawings and lighting design.
This is hands-on, practical work in an industrial environment. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, coordinate on-site with our team, and help make smart, efficient installation decisions in the field while staying compliant with Norwegian requirements.
Own tools required (we can support with purchasing additional tools as the scope is confirmed).
Core scope (aligned with Norconsult drawings)
You will be executing and supporting installation work related to:
1) Small power, lighting & data (Norconsult “Small power, lighting, data”)
- Install and wire lighting fixtures (incl. high-bay and wall-mounted fixtures)
- Implement the updated lighting layout around/over/below the platform
- Install small power outlets and basic power distribution as per drawings
- Install/route cabling for data/low-voltage points as shown
Note: Norconsult’s lighting recommendation is ~200 lux as a baseline. You’ll help ensure fixtures are installed and positioned accordingly.
2) Cable routing / cable ladders (Norconsult “Cable routing”)
- Install and route cables per routing drawings
- Install cable trays/ladders and adjust placement as needed on site
- Coordinate final routing where exact connection points differ from the 3D model (e.g., cable ladders planned at approx. +7.4m above floor may need repositioning)
3) Fire alarm & detection (Norconsult “Fire alarm and detection”)
- Install and connect fire alarm/detection components per drawings
- Coordinate with the building system / any existing fire alarm infrastructure
- Ensure proper commissioning support and documentation
4) Industrial exhaust system electrical work (HVAC/process exhaust)
- Power supply to centrifugal exhaust fan(s)
- Install and wire VFD (frequency converter) for fan control
- Connect emergency stop and safety interlocks
- Wire temperature / pressure sensors (as required)
- Assist with commissioning support together with ventilation contractor
Requirements
- Certified electrician (Norway) / approved company for electrical installation
- Experience with industrial installations and practical on-site problem solving
- Comfortable working from engineering drawings and marking up “as-built” updates
- Experience with motor/VFD wiring and basic instrumentation
- Able to start quickly and bring own tools
- Clear communication and reliable execution
