Refacture takes a different route: standardized, replicable modules that can be deployed independently or networked together. Economies of “mass production” rather than “economies of scale.”

Each Refacture module is engineered for a specific material flow — e.g. β-SiC and aluminum fluoride — enabling precise control over inputs, process parameters, and outputs. This isn’t a generic container or barge. It’s an adaptive manufacturing system built around real industrial constraints and opportunities. 

Because our platform is modular, we can test, refine, and deploy quickly — with the ability to localize materials, reduce transport, and enable circularity at the regional level. 

Purpose-Built Manufacturing Units

Refacture’s modular systems are designed around the production of specific, high-value materials — like 3C silicon carbide, engineered graphite, and aluminum fluoride. Each module is engineered to match the chemical and thermal requirements of the target product, not just to process waste. The ability to utilize certain industrial byproducts as feedstock is a function of our systems’ high-temperature plasma and proprietary pretreatment methods — not their reason for being. This precision-built approach ensures we manufacture for performance, not just diversion.

Proximity-Based Deployment

Our modules are sited strategically — close to where the right materials already exist. Rather than transporting qualified byproducts across long distances, we bring clean, compact production units to the source. This improves responsiveness, reduces transport and permitting overhead, and enables regionally distributed supply of strategic materials. It’s a deployment model built for resilience, circularity, and supply chain independence — not centralized fragility. 

Scaled as a Network, Not a Megaproject

We scale through site-by-site expansion — not by upsizing individual plants. Each module is a fully functional production unit that can operate independently or as part of a coordinated cluster. This allows us to expand capacity quickly, enter new markets efficiently, and match supply to real-time demand without reengineering core systems.
