Refacture is currently building its first industrial demonstration facility in Høyanger, Norway, where we are deploying plasma rotary furnace technology and advanced feedstock engineering to process complex industrial materials.
The Høyanger facility will serve as the foundation for scaling Refacture’s technology globally.
Position Overview
Refacture is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development, execution, and coordination of its Høyanger technology and demonstration facility.
This role will be responsible for managing complex industrial projects across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, while coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and strategic partners.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in translating Refacture’s innovative technologies into operational industrial systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This position is based in Høyanger, Norway, and requires close collaboration with Refacture’s engineering team, technology partners, and international leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Coordination
- Manage the planning and execution of Refacture’s Høyanger demonstration facility projects
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with engineering firms, equipment suppliers, and industrial contractors
- Manage procurement timelines for critical equipment including plasma systems, furnaces, cooling systems, and process infrastructure
- Oversee contractor activities to ensure alignment with project specifications and safety requirements
Engineering Integration
- Work closely with Refacture’s engineering team to translate process designs into deployable industrial systems
- Coordinate installation and integration of plasma torches, rotary furnaces, feedstock handling systems, and supporting infrastructure
- Support technical troubleshooting during equipment installation and commissioning
Project Controls
- Track budget, expenditures, and project cost forecasts
- Maintain documentation including technical specifications, change orders, and project reporting
- Ensure projects meet regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements
Site Coordination
- Serve as the central point of coordination for activities at the Høyanger facility
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners
- Ensure site activities align with Refacture’s operational and safety standards
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10+ years experience managing industrial or engineering projects
- Experience with industrial facilities, process plants, or heavy equipment installations
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contractor coordination
- Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in Norwegian and English
