About the role
Refacture is looking for experienced industrial ventilation / ducting technicians to help install and commission a process exhaust system inside our facility in Høyanger.
This is not comfort HVAC — the work involves industrial ducting, high-temperature exhaust, and airflow management. We prefer to work with independent professionals or small companies who can start quickly and bring their own tools.
The engagement starts on a project basis, but for the right people there is strong potential for continued work on future systems and facility upgrades.
Scope of work
- Installation of industrial exhaust ducting (fixed ductwork)
- Assembly and mounting of ducts, elbows, transitions, supports
- Installation of insulated duct sections close to hot sources
- Implementation of false air / dilution air inlets (manual dampers)
- Coordination with electrician for fan and VFD installation
- Practical on-site adjustments during commissioning
- General troubleshooting and optimization of airflow
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with industrial ventilation or process ducting
- Comfortable working independently from drawings and layouts
- Understanding of airflow, pressure, and temperature constraints
- Own tools suitable for ducting and industrial installation work
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset
- Able to start on short notice
- Local or willing to work in Høyanger
